Our youth program is led by dedicated volunteers who share a common goal: to build durable faith in the lives of young people that will last a lifetime. We believe that investing in the spiritual growth and development of our youth is of utmost importance. We understand the unique challenges young people face in today's world navigating the complexities of life while staying rooted in their faith.
We aim to provide a safe space for them to explore their faith, ask questions, and grow deep in their relationship with God. Through worship, study, discussion, and meaningful connection, we seek to inspire and equip our youth to live out their faith with confidence and conviction. ​ As parents ourselves, we recognize the vital role that parents play in shaping the faith journey of their children. We encourage your active involvement and collaboration in our youth ministry efforts. Whether your child is new to our church or has been a part of our community for years, we warmly invite them to join us on this incredible journey of faith. Rise Evening Vespers
Singing, Scripture, and snacks for the youth of our church and community
Our worship vespers are an evening filled with heartfelt singing, meaningful scripture readings, and delightful snacks. It serves as a catalyst for relationships community. Through shared testimonies and discussions, we aim to deepen our understanding of the Bible, world, and identity in Christ. We want our youth to grow in discernment as followers of Christ. Join us for a memorable experience where worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth intertwine in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
HeBrews Hospitality Ministry
Harnessing hospitality to connect youth and parents to our church family
This Sunday morning beverage ministry is led by our youth, providing them an excellent opportunity to serve and create connections within our church community. As they serve refreshments, they not only raise support for youth events, but foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This ministry allows our youth to actively engage with congregants, build relationships, and contribute to the overall sense of fellowship on Sunday mornings. By participating in this service, our youth gain valuable experiences in service, hospitality, and teamwork, all while leaving a positive impact on our church family.
Youth Bible Study & Discipleship
Building relationships to cultivate faith through the fusion of worship, teaching, and service
Our Bible study for youth provides opportunity to dive deeper into their faith through thought-provoking Bible study and discussion. We encourage our youth to take their faith seriously and explore the richness of God's Word together. This study is designed to empower them with a solid biblical foundation and equip them with the tools necessary to navigate the challenges they may face in today's world. Engaging with youth from other churches is vital for building a strong sense of community and cultivating lasting relationships. It provides an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and support one another on their faith journeys. By interacting with peers from different churches, they gain a broader perspective and develop a deeper understanding of unity in Christ. These connections foster a sense of belonging to a wider community of believers and nurture lifelong friendships that can provide support and encouragement throughout their lives.

National youth gathering for winning, building, and encouraging the faith of youth at YMCA of the Rockies
The FLY Convention® is the biennial national youth gathering of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations. The purpose of the FLY Convention® is to provide congregations with a tool for winning the lost, building the believer, and encouraging student disciplemaking in the local congregation. It seems good to us as we join together for common work and fellowship to state our beliefs in regard to the following matters.
Youth Ministry Values
We recognize five goals necessary to develop Jesus followers whose faith will prove durable in the face of cultural hostility and spiritual strife.
Christian Identity
We want youth to recognize their eternal worth and purpose defined by Jesus Christ in His Word. We believe this truth and reality anchors their life in God's design.
Biblical Discernment
We equip youth to more carefully examine and engage their world in the light of Scripture. We believe youth need to be prepared for a culture that hates their faith.
Deep Connection
We want youth to have meaningful relationships with peers and spiritually mature mentors. We believe hurt and distrust move youth to destructive isolation.
Life Preparation
We seek youth who are prepared to make a difference in the world. We believe youth are unprepared for real life, but find fulfillment in finding their place in the world.
Missional Service
We want youth to move past their own preferences and desires to serve others. We believe service is a necessary and blessed part of growing into maturity.
